2020 Teacher Mini Grant Application Information

The one-five Foundation/Kathy Buesching Memorial Mini-Grant Program is now accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year.

The mission of the one-five Foundation is to acquire resources to be used for programs and projects to enhance and supplement the educational experience of District 15 students.

For the 2022-23 school year, the Foundation has decided to consider grants in two areas:

  • The implementation of programs and/or projects

  • The acquisition and application of technology

Specific funds have been allocated for each of these sub-groups. Relative to technology, the grant application must state the specific use of the technology and how it will be utilized and applied in the classroom. The technology grants are not designed to simply acquire new resources but should demonstrate how they will be used for instruction.

Recognizing that some programs include smaller technology components, the Foundation will evaluate all applications having 50 percent or more of their budget representing purchases considered under the technology group.

If you have a program, project, or new technology that qualifies as an educational extra (i.e., not generally financed with taxpayer dollars), this would be an excellent opportunity for you to apply.

Can it be replicated or otherwise serve as an inspiration to others? If so, please submit your application for review.

One-five Foundation mini-grant applications are due DUE DATE. Only District 15 staff members or teachers may apply. Please follow the guidelines accompanying the application available to view on Google Drive. The Foundation office will notify winners in late April or early May. We look forward to receiving your application.
